About Emily

I am Emily Raney, founder of ERA Salon. After 10 years in the industry, I am returning to my roots of Ankeny to build my business at home. As a color specialist, I am passionate about cultivating colors and styles that best represent you. My top priority is the health of your hair and a look that is maintable. My color specialty is lived in blondes and multidimensional brunettes.

Originally, I began my career in Minneapolis where I could receive extensive continuing education opportunities in the industry. I spent the last 8 years at a top salon in Des Moines perfecting my skills as a hair color specialist. I am a researcher at heart and want to absorb and retain as much information as possible. I love being able to apply my continued learning experiences to refine my skills and expand my expertise to provide the best hair results possible for my guests.
